The legal notice indicates that the projected construction cost for Phase 1 is expected to be in the range of $2,000,000 however, the Central Connecticut Loop Trail Study showed an estimated construction cost of approximately $9,000,000 for the two segments from Mile Lane to the Arrigoni Bridge. Can you please clarify the expected construction cost and limits of the segment to be designed?
Yes, the project limit is from Mile Lane to the Arrigoni Bridge as shown in the CCLT study for this preliminary design phase. There is a second Urban Action Grant (UAG) for $2,000,000 for construction. Additional funding for construction will need to be acquired in the future.
